What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storeroom Attendant-2 position at PPG Industries?
As a Storeroom Attendant you will receive, stocking, kitting, and issuing materials, such as MRO inventory, repairable items, equipment, and other items for the warehouse, and assisting the MRO Coordinator to ensure MRO inventory is accurate, up to date, and adequate to meet site needs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle interactions with storeroom customers
Inspect and receive all goods and materials delivered to the MRO Warehouse and Receiving gate
Issue parts and materials from the stockroom
Assist in loading and unloading trucks
Input items received and issued into Maximo (CMMS system)
Operate material handling equipment (including fork trucks)
Stock material in appropriate bin locations
Pull and kit material for scheduled jobs
Support cycle counts and audits
Work with the Maintenance Business Team members to address issues and implement change
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Function in a warehouse / stockroom environment and in an office setting
Identify industrial equipment and parts from a maintenance perspective
Salary : $33,900 - $42,900
