As a Traffic & Distribution Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities
- Follow company policies and procedures for processing documents for shipping domestic and international shipments.
- Provides additional backup support for the distribution department.
- Housekeeping 5/S to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
- Coordinates and prepares documents for shipments with logistics carriers and ensures productivity goals and customer requirements are met with each order.
- Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, internal customers, inventory control team, shipping and receiving teammates, and others involved in the shipment of products.
- Processing work order closures and allocations based upon availability and customer requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents while gathering and maintaining all data relative to shipping activities.
- Perform additional duties as required or requested.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel and Access.
- Adhere to shipping and inventory operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to details and ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility some weekends and extended hours, required.
