What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at PPG?
As the Warehouse Lead, you will play an important role within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate a safety-oriented work environment while overseeing all warehouse operations. You will lead a team of associates, ensuring efficient coordination of tasks, adherence to safety protocols, and maintenance of inventory accuracy.
You will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a safety-first culture among all warehouse associates and truck drivers, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, organized and cost-effective distribution operation
- Maintain overall warehouse organization, including management of bin locations and ERP transfers to facilitate efficient operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience in warehouse with an understanding of safety regulations and best practices preferred.
- Ability to lift 40-60 pounds routinely.
