In collaboration with the Director of Quality Management/Nursing, Senior Manager of Health Center Compliance and the Health Center Manager, the Lead Clinician ensures high quality health care is provided to all PPMM patients. This is accomplished by Implementing and monitoring quality management at the health center level, reviewing data monitoring performance and implementing corrective action based on standards set by the quality management team.

Attends Quality Management (QM) meetings, presents quality management updates and oversees implementation of all changes and updates by health center staff.
- Monitors compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
- Assists in identifying workflow issues and strategies for corrective actions and implementation
- Assists in orientation and mentoring new health center staff in adhering to PPMM standards
- Assists in performance improvement plans for health center staff
- Provides input on introductory period evaluations and annual performance reviews for Health Center
patient facing staff - Consults with clinic staff re: protocol implementation and problem remediation
- Reviews clinical audits, presents affiliate and health center specific findings to health center team, and oversees
the follow up of corrective actions and integration of action items. - Provides support and is a clinical resource for external health center site audits and inspections
- Oversees medication and emergency supplies
- Identifies areas for quality improvement within the health center setting and suggestions for changes and improvements based on PPMM quality standards
- Provides leadership in implementing new services
- Conducts medical portion of performance reviews for HSS and licensed staff (as indicated)
- Initiates follow-up, as needed, for employees work-related injuries
- Completes Incident Reports
- Assists with special QM projects as indicated
- Contributes to achieving health center productivity goals.
- Collaborates with Center Management Team to provide training, and techniques to enable health center staff to achieve quality standards
- Demonstrates PPMM customer service standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Ability to perform the duties described above. A typical means of acquiring those abilities would be:

Graduation from an accredited FNP OR Primary Care PA program for comprehensive primary care centers;graduation from an accredited Women’s Health NP or CNM program is acceptable for limited primary care
centers - Current State license
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification
- Successful completion and demonstration of competency for all Clinician I Basic Skill Set
- Successful completion and demonstration of competency for all Clinician II Intermediate Skill Set

Willingness and ability to learn new skills appropriate to PPMM clinical duties

Strong customer service orientation
- Available to cover at least one evening clinic per week and one Saturday clinic per month, as needed by center
- Current experience using computer and mouse
- Experience using a Microsoft Windows based program and willing to learn new computer skills
- Able to work cooperatively as a member of a health care delivery team
