Diesel Mechanic
Looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to work out of our Artesia, NM shop. Working 10-hour days Monday – Friday (occasional weekends), ~50 hours per week.

Diesel Mechanic will ensure oilfield equipment is being inspected, repaired, and all maintenance is completed on tractors and trailers in compliance with the DOT/FMCSA Standards.

Diesel mechanic: 2 years (Preferred) - Experience with Western Star equipment is a plus.
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of diesel mechanics.
- D.E.F and SCR, sensors, injectors work
- Repair from chassis and Cummins side
- Engine and fuel diagnostics (E.S.A and Cummins)
- Understanding of Federal and State DOT Regulations, especially the DOT's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to direct and achieve priorities, goals, and strategies with limited supervision
- Perform Annual Inspections on equipment
- Perform maintenance on CMV and trailers
- Documentation Skills
- Communication Skills
- 2 years Mechanic experience
- Certifications a plus
- Understand the basic concept of computers (paperless facility)
Pay:
- $30 - 33/hour DOE
Benefits:
- Sign-on bonus - $2,000 after successfully completing 90 days
