Job Location: PKC - Fort Yates, ND
Salary Range: $19.25 - $28.88
Description
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- Knowledge of the legal requirements including but not limited to labor laws, health and safety requirements, chemical hazards and the cleaning expectations of all Food and Beverage areas with a focus on all kitchen areas.
- Responsible for coordinating the activities of the staff with the Food and Beverage outlets’ expectations of business.
- Controls all cleaning and maintenance of equipment and fixtures in the stewarding department by arranging for repairs and other services.
- Responsible for interviewing, making selections, training, performance management and assessment of staff members.
- Enforces observance by staff members of all health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Obtains all necessary health standards and inspections criteria, ensuring that Stewarding staff performs their duties accordingly.
- Must be available to work all shifts at any given time to provide the coverage to get the job done.
- Maintaining Title 31 compliance accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for Tribal Non-Gaming License.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
Experience: One year of experience in stewarding preferred.
Physical: Requires tolerance to wet floors and temperature extremes; abilities to regularly, and on a continuous basis, bend, stoop, lift and carry dish racks and other materials weighing up to 40 pounds or more at times; and frequently to stand for long periods and to move safely from area to area in the kitchen. Can perform shift work regularly.
$19.25 - $28.88 DOE
