Pediatric Cardiologist

Tufts Medicine Pediatrics with Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to see patients primarily in Tufts Medicine ambulatory settings and in the NICU at Tufts Medical Center. Valuing work/life balance, the division is open to offering either a full-time or part-time position. Strong transthoracic echocardiography and fetal echocardiography skills are a must. Depending on the candidate’s interests, training and experience, and the service needs at Boston Children’s Hospital, opportunities may also exist for candidates to devote a portion of their clinical and/or academic time to working at Boston Children’s Hospital. Why Join our Team: At Tufts Medical Center, the Division of Pediatric Cardiology is committed to fostering a warm and reassuring environment for families. The division sees patients in 5 different locations throughout the Boston Metro Area and has approximately 5,000 outpatient visits annually. It also has a very busy fetal program, which sees approximately 700 new patients annually. How You’ll Transform Care: Join a team who focuses mainly on outpatient pediatric cardiology. Admissions and in-patient services are provided by Boston Children’s Hospital. Provide cardiology consults to the nursery and NICU at Tufts Medical Center. Share call responsibilities evenly with the other division members. These responsibilities consist mainly of Tufts nursery, Tufts NICU, and phone consultations for general pediatric floor and ED at small/medium sized community hospitals in the area. Teach medical students as well as fellows within neonatal-perinatal medicine, maternal fetal medicine, and adult cardiology programs.
