Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret Engine Manuals and Standard Practices Manuals
• Manage and maintain Process Control Projects (i.e. ProCert, PFMEA) including measurement process integrity, audit requirements, updating Minitab (or equivalent) and any other process requirements.
• Review Engineering Hold items on a daily basis and determine proper course of action.
• Develop new equipment, process and troubleshoot problem operations
• Review tool designs, mark-up prints, issue request forms, track tool changes and corrections.
• Perform the necessary process try-out tasks including set-ups, first piece runs, process development and gage correlations.
• Support and assist in TAT reductions, On-Time Delivery and Sales & EBIT Goals.
• May require off-shift coverage based on business requirements
• May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed but within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and develop individual skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• AS degree in technical field with 12 years experience supporting manufacturing operations in a fast paced rapid changing environment
• Ability to Interpret tool drawings, part drawings, and manufacturing process instructions
• Knowledge of cutting tool application and metallurgy
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS degree in engineering with 10 years experience in manufacturing operations
• Strong customer relationship and management skills
• FAA Repairman License (or held one in the past)
• Leadership experience
• Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience is various computer software and administrative abilities
• Machining /manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of new product / process technologies
• Strong computer skills
