Job Summary:
This is an amazing opportunity in the Quality area on 3rd shift, Labor grade is 84'
Position Reports to: Keith Craig
Perform a variety of Calibration Technician functions with assistance and direction from Sr. Calibration Technicians to support the flow of work through the Tool Services organization and other areas of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform calibration of gages, fixtures, instruments and equipment using a variety of methods to include Coordinate Measuring Machines
Construct, alter, repair and inspect complicated tools, gages, fixtures, models and jigs and perform other tasks related to tool making and inspection
Read and work from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, marked prints and piece samples
Conduct troubleshooting, design modifications and correlations on tools, gages, and fixtures
Select the necessary tooling, perform set-ups and operate calibration inspection and tool room equipment (ID / OD machine, etc.)
Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Basic Qualifications:
High School or General Equivalency Diploma
1 years of related experience or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1 years related experience
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced shop mathematics including trigonometry and geometry
Demonstrated ability in running correlated programs on Coordinate Measuring Machines
1 years of experience reading and working from tooling blueprints
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of measuring and test equipment
Machining knowledge of alterations and repairs on tools, gages, and fixtures
Ability to communicate technical information, both verbally and written
PC knowledge, such as SAP, DOC Access and other software

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
