Key Responsibilities:
- Daily review of all physical inventory and identification of aged WIP
- Communication of counts of aged parts and locations to supervisors and management
- Flowing aged parts to the shop floor, both from receipts of new material and active work in process
- Splitting travelers on the shop floor to optimize flow
- Tracking of all aged serial number through rework operations (ins/outs)
- Use CORE tools to improve delivery commitment integrity and inventory control
- Perform work in line with a World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team
- Use and improvement of internal logistics and communication tools
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizen due to government contracts
- Inventory/materials experience
- Willingness to learn SAP or knowledge/experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (lean manufacturing)
- Ability to adapt to changing business condition
- Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results
- Proven written/verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels
- Customer service skills
- Organized/ detail-oriented, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results
- Team oriented, strong work ethic and reliable
What is my role type?
In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
