CONTEXT: Our client, a commercial equipment and construction company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales (VP) to join their team. This role will be integral in driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and partners in the industry.
The VP will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of sales function. The qualified candidate will lead a dedicated sales team and work closely with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
