Premiere Networks Job Summary: Creates program content and manages the whole production process for both live and recorded radio programs Responsibilities • Researches and writes creative copy for on air hosts for multiple nationally syndicated country radio programs. • Writes and organizes digital assets for web and social content posts. • Generates original ideas for daily show prep, identifies suitable ideas from others, and carries out thorough research. • Researches information, obtains materials and assists with contacting and scheduling guests. • Organizes and edits all copy and requests for advertiser messaging & spots, along with station liners and other requests for reads from program hosts. Edits and distributes host audio & reads. • Organizes and edits daily show reference materials & prep for accuracy and readability for on air talent. • Monitors listener emails, inquiries and responses related to shows. • Works in collaboration with presenters, performers or other program contributors, in order to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards, rules and regulations. • Uses various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production software. • Assists with time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing as directed. • May work the board for pre-recorded or live shows. Qualifications • We need someone with EXCELLENT writing and storytelling skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
