We are searching for a motivated individual to join Precious Paws Veterinary Hospital as a Facilities Assistant. As part of our award-winning team, you will perform daily housekeeping, ensure inventory and supply availability, and help maintain equipment and facilities. You will report to the Hospital Manager as you perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance, stocking, and janitorial duties. This is a physically demanding position. You must be able to stand, walk, and lift items throughout a standard shift. Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, ability to work with little supervision, and excellent time management skills. THIS POSITION DOES NOT INTERACT WITH PATIENTS/PETS.

Facilities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning all exam rooms, kennel areas, treatment rooms, common areas and restrooms
  • Attending to the hospital, maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance free of excessive hospital laundry, debris, pet hair, and odor.
  • Maintaining adequate stock of supplies and goods, delivering reorder requests to the Hospital Manager.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
