ASSEMBLER

JOB SUMMARY   

Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Assembler is responsible for operating air guns, air drivers, hand tools, power tools, and the pallet jack. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assembly - Assembles product according to project specifications. Heli-coil installation, pins, part marking.
• Packaging - Assists Shipping and Receiving with preparing the product for delivery. 
• Visual Inspection - Visually inspects parts and assembled pieces for defects and touches up paint finish as needed.
• Moving Parts - Move parts from station to station.
• Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.

• Thorough operational knowledge and skills of assembly equipment.
• Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently. 
• Ability to keep record of time spent and material used.
• Ability to use read drawings and blueprints. 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Minimum 2 years of experience

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $17.00 - $27.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
