Intro and job overview:
Join our Product Management team and become a driving force behind the Data Integrity Suite product line. In this pivotal role, you'll delve into market trends across our existing and target customer segments, transforming insights into actionable business requirements, functional use cases, and compelling product solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll emerge as the subject matter expert on our Data Integrity Suite product portfolio, guiding product development and supporting sales with your deep product knowledge and market insights. Your expertise will identify growth opportunities, inform strategy, and ensure our products continue to meet the evolving needs of our market.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategic Vision and Execution: Champion the product vision and strategy, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Market and Customer Insight: Lead in-depth market research and customer engagement to inform product development, ensuring our solutions address real needs and market opportunities.
- Strategic Prioritization and Roadmap Development: Utilize insights to prioritize product features decisively, crafting a dynamic product roadmap that communicates clear, strategic milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the nexus between engineering, sales, marketing, and support, promoting a unified approach to product development, launch, and iteration.
- Customer Value and Impact Assessment: Ensure product features deliver tangible customer value, assessing the impact of new enhancements on usability and market competitiveness to guide prioritization and planning.
- Agile Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Employ Agile methodologies to streamline product development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through regular analysis of product performance and feedback.
- Pricing, Packaging, and Business Performance: Develop innovative pricing and packaging strategies, overseeing the business performance of the product line to drive success and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Feedback Integration: Build consensus among key stakeholders on product direction, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance product offerings continually.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4–8 years of experience in product management or ownership, preferably within the data catalog, metadata management, or related sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field; relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
- Proven background in enterprise software technology, with a strong focus on SaaS strategy, prioritization, and planning.
- A technologically curious mindset, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and rapidly adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience in business analysis or product management within the enterprise software domain.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud deployment models and an understanding of their impact on product strategy.
- Experience in data quality, data integration, data governance, location intelligence, data enrichment, and/or metadata management software spaces.
- In-depth knowledge of SaaS software delivery mechanisms, with a track record of successfully bringing SaaS products to market.
