Financial Analyst (Redmond, OR)

MISSION:

Maintains systems to effectively measure financial and operational performance. Participates in development of financial analyses, forecasts and special studies for management in areas such as performance against plan, capital investments, and alternative management strategies. Position has involvement with wide range of functional areas within the Company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Maintains systems that assist management in financial control and decision making.
2. Participates in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial analysis and status reports of on-going business activities, e.g., operating performance vs. budget, status of major spending activities.
3. Assists in developing special studies as required relative to profitability, pricing, cost reduction projects, capital expenditures, cash flow and return on investment.
4. Participates in the development of short and long range financial plans.
5. Works closely with other department Financial Analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or engineering.
2. One to two years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and computer systems.
3. Manufacturing experience preferred.
4. Must have a general knowledge of financial and quantitative analysis techniques, management accounting, cost accounting, and management information systems.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Ability to think and work with moderate supervision.
7. Able to demonstrate a high attention to detail.
8. Proficient in MS Office applications. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
9. Top candidates will have experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting and computer systems in a manufacturing environment.
