Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced garage door installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garage door installation and repair, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As an installer, please be prepared to travel to various locations and interact with customers on a regular basis.

Primary Area of Focus :

As a garage door installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining garage doors for residential and commercial clients.

You will be expected to have a solid understanding of garage door mechanics and electrical systems and be able to provide exceptional customer service while performing installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Install various types of garage doors and perform maintenance and repair services on existing garage doors and openers.
• Handling and assembling garage door components, including tracks, springs, cables, panels, and openers
• Ensure that all installations meet industry standards and adhere to safety regulations.
• Provide estimates and quotes for services to potential clients.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored in a safe and secure manner.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs, and complete paperwork as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, including answering questions and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Additional tasks, within scope of the role, may be required as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Organized and methodical work ethic
• Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to work at heights, and use ladders and scaffolding as needed.
