Precision for Medicine is hiring a Contracts Manager (global budgets developer) to join our team, position is based in the US.

Precision does this by developing assays that utilize biomarkers to help identify the right patient for the right drug. We handle every aspect of clinical trials from initial strategy and design to selecting sites and executing quality clinical trials.
Position Summary:
Review, draft, negotiate and track a variety of legal agreements including master services agreements, partnership agreements, subcontractor agreements, confidentiality agreements, steering board committee agreements, and other client contracts. Negotiate investigator site agreements for clinical studies.
Work closely with corporate legal to resolve sponsor contract issues (indemnification, damages, IP, etc.).
Participate in corporate strategic initiatives, such as Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Establish process and procedures for overall site contract management in the organization.
- Review, draft and negotiate agreements when necessary.
- Build global study and site budgets.
- Create site specific budgets.
- Escalate and resolve complex issues with legal team.
- Negotiate site budgets
- Provide guidance to business teams regarding operational implications of budget figures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and contracting standards.
- Update relevant leadership and business teams regarding the status of contract and budget negotiations and execution.
- Establish, track, report and manage contract metrics.
- Coordinate execution of agreements and track agreement expirations and other obligations.
- Support the maintenance of contract files and databases, including contract archiving.
- Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to affect the timely execution
finalization of budgets.
- Recognize where processes can be improved and take corrective action.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare discipline. Candidates need to have strong experience in Clinical trial site budgets for the US and ideally already be in a global role.
Preferred:
- 8 years or more of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating Site Budget, as well as budget management, control and tracking of the contract process, working for a Clinical Research Organisation.
- Experience in oncology research, life science, biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Experience interacting with both US and Canadian institutions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
