Job Posting for Mechanical Assembly Technician at Precision Process
Precision Process is a manufacturer of a variety of electroplating/chemical processing equipment. Our broad technical expertise and innovative designs are used by medical instrument manufacturers, electroplaters, and steel strip producers. Essential Functions:
Read/interpret blueprints, sketches, part lists, and work orders to determine methods of fabrication/assembly
Use hand routers, table saws, plastic welding guns, plumbing tools, hand tools, and drill presses
Troubleshoot failures and perform repairs
Ensure work environment is clean and safe
Ensure quality of parts and assembly process
Accurately complete documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions
Ability to interpret blueprints (PID) for plumbing and pneumatics
Understanding of Geometric Dimensions/Tolerances
Ability to travel approximately 25% of time
Basic math and computer skills
Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
