Summary

Our client is is a leading application Engineering Consulting firm in the Washington, D.C. metro region specializing in Management Services, Technology Solutions and Facilities Services. They partner with and assist Federal, State and local government agencies; private sector Energy Services Companies (ESCOs); and Commercial entities in the design and implementation of their various Engineering and Technology related projects. Additionally, they are able to leverage an engineering team with proven technology industry experience that resulted in multi-million-dollar contracts within federal government, state & local government clients!

 

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Senior Program Analyst IV to assist with the design, development, and support of complex Java/JEE programs. The successful candidate will contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle and interact effectively within a team environment. This position requires full-time presence onsite in Richmond, VA.

• Design, develop, and support complex Java/JEE applications
• Perform relational and object-oriented modeling
• Troubleshoot and provide support for multi-tiered applications
• Interact successfully in a team environment
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Produce technical requirements specifications and design documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Java/J2EE development experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL
• Minimum of 3 years experience with SOAP & REST Web Services, JSPs, Struts, Spring, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, and JMS
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Spring Batch and Spring Boot
• Minimum of 2 years experience with relational/object oriented modeling
• Minimum of 3 years experience with requirements gathering
• Strong problem troubleshooting and support experience for complex applications
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• The ability to successfully interact in a team environment
• Experience with technical requirements specification and design documentation

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle Database
• Minimum of 3 years experience with UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and UML
• Minimum of 2 years experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Liberty
• Minimum of 2 years experience with IBM Rational Applications/UML
• Experience working in an agile environment (scrum, kanban, or scrumban) is highly desired
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Liberty, and Oracle RDBMS
• Experience with large-scale data migration
• Experience working in an agile environment (scrum, kanban, or scrumban)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Strong experience with SpringBatch and Spring Boot
• Strong experience with UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and UML
