Medicare Billing Specialist Precision Staffing is hiring Medicare Billing Specialist for a local healthcare network. This is a temp to hire opportunity in the Blue Ash area. The purpose of this position is to expedite positive cash flow, maximize reimbursement and reduce/eliminate financial loss to the department customers by accurate, efficient, timely billing, follow-up and collections of patient accounts. Responsible for the timely and accurate follow-up on all patient account balances including insurance and patient financial balances.
Responsible for processing of the specified number of accounts on a daily basis based on customer specialty and unique billing requirements.
Must know and understand both Government and Non-Government contractual bulling and follow-up guidelines based on individual payers.
Responsible for contacting Government, Non-government and self-payers regarding lack of payment or improper payment.
Resolves all issues and ensures that balances after insurance payments are correct based on contracts. Required Qualifications of the Medicare Billing Specialist:
3 years of Medicare billing (5 preferred )
Must be proficient in Excel
Must have Epic experience
Must have High School degree Apply Now!
