You will constantly interact with client management and staff regarding computer technology services and equipment issues. You must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a customer-focused environment, manage time and organize work effectively, and be proactive and enthusiastic.
As the Telecommunications/Network Engineer, reporting to the Director of Network Communications, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, configuration, implementation, securing, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and network infrastructure for Prelude and clients. This role requires proven analytical and problem solving abilities and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
You will need:
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Minimum of two years of experience with telecommunication support
- Minimum of two years of experience with networking/LAN/WAN support
- Project management skills
- Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Travel to client locations as required.
Typical duties include:
- Perform move/add/change and break-fix support for VoIP platform.
- Install, configure, and manage networking hardware.
- Provide support for network hardware and software - LAN/WAN/WIFI.
This role is primarily remote with some onsite client work when required.
