JOB SUMMARY:
Dispense Stockroom items to employees while maintaining an acceptable level of Stockroom inventory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and inspect incoming material and enter received material into inventory system.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Distribute various Stockroom items to employees.
Requisition material as needed.
Comply with Portland Forges’ ethics and compliance policies.
Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.
Requires lifting to 50 lbs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES:
Good communication skills, experience using Microsoft Products (Work, Excel, Power Point, etc. or equivalent), basic math skills, and the ability to work with people.
Ability to work 10 hours per day Monday – Thursday with occasional work on Fridays. This schedule may change to 8 hours per day Monday – Friday depending on workload.
Ability to be at work on-site each day as attendance on-site is critical.
QUALIFICATIONS and Experience:
High School Diploma required. Post secondary education preferred (Associate Degree or Certificate Program)
Experience working in a storeroom/stocking role preferred.
