DRIVER/ RETAIL LAUNDRY SERVICES/FULL-TIME/ 80 HRS PER PAY PERIOD/DAYS/WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS
A Truck Driver is responsible for “touch freight” so they will be loading (locking each load on truck) and unloading bins from the truck, weighing in and logging each bin in and out, staging soiled linen into soiled area, moving clean linen carts to each designated clean area at each location, and picks up all soiled linen at each stop, locking the bins on the truck, delivering and picking up linen dock to truck or using the lift at some locations per schedule, cleaning truck, removing trash in department, checking fluids and putting gas in the truck as needed. The driver performs linen attendant duties when you are not driving. Driver licenses are to be always current and report all driving violations to management. Cell phone usage while driving a PHP owned vehicle is strongly discouraged. Drivers are to report in (call or text their immediate supervisor) after they back the truck up to the dock at each customer location. Texting should never occur while driving a PHP owned vehicle. Observe laws and immediately report any and all accidents to management.

Minimum Level of Education Required: No requirement
Additional requirements:
Preferred educational qualifications: High school completion / GED
Position specific testing requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment Driving test.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Must have a valid Driver's License
CDL preferred but not required
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Experience driving a large (26’) truck
