Garden Center Sales Associate

Premier Landscape and Design is looking for a Garden Associate to join our team. The Garden Associate will be responsible for the maintenance and care of our garden and landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily tasks of the garden, including watering, mulching, pruning, weeding, and other duties as needed.
  • Planting, watering, and mulching plants.
  • Cleaning up debris from the property.
  • Answering phones calls from potential customers.
  • Answering questions about our products and services.
  • Working with customers to find the best solutions to their problems.
  • Keeping accurate records of plantings, water consumption, and other activities as needed. I’m
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations in the presence of the customer.
  • Communicating with our clients to answer questions about our products and services.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous gardening experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with plants is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment under pressure conditions while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining friendly relations with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
