Positions Available:

95th Location:

Toddler Teacher, ages 1-2 years (Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30)

Floater Teacher, all ages (Mon-Fri, 9:00-6:00 or 11:00-6:00)

Location:

95th/Antioch (913-283-8120)

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience and position)

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:

• Provide a high level of care and safety for young children, allowing children to feel loved and safe at school
• Ensure children are given the opportunity to learn and grow each day
• Promote a positive atmosphere for parents, children and other staff at all times
• Communicate effectively with peers and parents to ensure a consistent and engaging classroom setting
• Participate in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the classroom and center as a whole
• Present a professional demeanor
• Follow a daily schedule and classroom routine with the children
• Assist in implementing daily engaging and educational lesson plans following the HighScope Curriculum (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience in an early childhood classroom preferred (daycare/preschool/childcare center)
• Ability to keep a classroom clean, organized and age appropriate
• Ability to utilize parent/staff communication app- BrightWheel (training provided)
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
