Shipping Supervisor

Premier Packaging is currently searching for a ShippingSupervisor who will oversee the Forklift Operators & Warehouse Leads Associates, Administrator and Leads. A successful Supervisor will be able to Time Management, be an effective communicator, have organizational product knowledge and support their team. 

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): 

• ShippingSupervisor oversees Forklift Operators and Warehouse Leads 

• Responsible for opening and closing the facility, alarm arming/de-arming, and key controls 

• Qualifies as a Master Shipper knows and practices all related work instructions, and ensures new and existing lift operators are fully trained 

• Enforces safety rules and safe place work habits on a continual basis. Conducts accident investigations 

• Preserves the housekeeping integrity of the warehouse through daily assignments, areas of responsibility, and inspectionHas responsibility for unit appearance, proper warehouse stacking, adequate banding, cleanliness, and visually appealing aisle ways, bays, and racks 

• Reviews and approves weekly time and attendance 

• Warehouse Supervisor has overall responsibility for the execution of the line-up provided by the scheduler, with timely and accurately pulled pick tickets, careful trailer load arrangements based on stops, and visual appearance. 

• Ensures the shift is staffed, with fair and equitable workloads, vacations are covered, and operates equipment themselves when necessary

What you Need: 

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. alone and 50 lbs. assisted 

• Be at least 18 years of age 

• Experience driving a forklift preferred 

• Prior Leadership Experience 

• Experience in Shippingpreferred
