Pharmacy Technician Job Summary

Under general supervision, assist the pharmacist to fill physician's orders, select, and package medications for delivery to our nursing homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately select and fill medications according to physician orders
  • Prepare IV medications using the aseptic technique
  • Prepare and maintain emergency medication kits for use in our nursing facilities
  • Maintain pharmacy records
  • Assist with stocking and maintenance of automated dispensing equipment

Pharmacy Packing Technician Qualifications and Skills
  • One year of pharmacy experience preferred
  • Experience in aseptic technique preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Current pharmacy technician license in good standing with the State of Arkansas.
