Construction Superintendent/Manager- As the Construction Manager at Premier Quality Homes, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the residential construction process for multiple home sites from foundation to completion. This position reports to the Operations Managers.

Pay Range: $60,000 – 70,000 DOE

Education: High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees residential construction for multiple homes sites from Site prep, foundation to completion.
  • Work with Sales and Operations managers to develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits with clients to verify plan accuracy and address any concerns, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Obtain and manage all necessary building permits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and make workflow adjustments as necessary. Communicate this to the operations manager.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to plans.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of all principles of construction, with a strong focus in Framing, Footings/Foundations, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Finishes. They should also know Trim and Millwork, concrete flatwork, Installation of manufacturing equipment/appliances.
  • Proficiency in BuilderTrend OR a similar project management program
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Ability to determine builder take-offs.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
