Construction Superintendent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a Superintendent at Premier Remodeling & Design, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with the owner of the company, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that each project is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and oversee aspects of construction projects, including scheduling and resource allocation.

· Coordinate with project manager/owner to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.

· Supervise and mentor on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, carpenters, and laborers, to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

· Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.

· Maintain a safe and secure work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.

· Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members to address concerns and ensure project success.

· Keep accurate daily records of project timelines, progress, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a superintendent, with a proven track record of successfully managing residential remodeling projects.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.

· Proficient in project management software and tools.

· Proficient in reading plans and specifications.

· Proficient in material take-off and developing order quantities for all building materials.

· Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
