What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Clerk position at Premier Therapy Associates?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for registering patients for outpatient therapy, obtaining personal information or verifying information already on file, including emergency numbers and insurance information.
- Supervise pediatric clients in the waiting room.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to the office manager and therapists.
- Maintains department records, reports, and files as required.
- Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function well in stressful situations.
- Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity; ensures confidentiality of patients’ records.
- Maintains a good working relationship within the department and with other departments.
- Participates in the educational programs, completes annual educational requirements, and attends in-service meetings as required.
- Accepts and completes other duties as assigned or requested.
- Answers incoming calls to the facility in a professional, timely manner.
- Must maintain a professional attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
