Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable sales professional expertise in agriculture equipment distribution to support our Waukon, IA - Premiere Kubota.
The successful candidate will be responsible for territory sales across these primary counties :
Howard, Chickasaw, Winneshiek, Fayette, Allamakee and Clayton.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell our materials and services to current and prospective customers through in-person travel visits, phone calls and emails.
- Generate additional sales revenues by cross-selling to current customers.
- Provide exemplary sales service with prompt responses and accurate communication.
- Answer questions to overcome resistance and objections, quote and estimate services, and negotiate with prospects and customers.
- Build a referral network from existing customers
- Accurately collect & record data as required during the sales and follow-up process
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the agriculture manufacturing and materials industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Required : 2-4 years of previous sales / customer relations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recommended : bachelor's degree or greater from an accredited college or university or the equivalent of an associate degree.
