Job type: Full Time
Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM EST
Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional customer service rep to join our team! We are open to meeting you if you have superior communication skills, scheduling and sales experience and enjoy working with people. If you have a background in basic skincare, that’s a plus! Responsibilities include speaking on the phone with consumers, providing product knowledge, troubleshooting products, frequent email communication with consumers, and providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming customer service calls on behalf of a major Fortune 500 company that offers consumer goods/services for its consumers
- Log Customer information using Customer Relations Management (CRM) Software while maintaining dialogue
- Confirm customer information (name, account number, contact information, etc.) previously logged into CRM Software and make any necessary revisions
- Ask probing questions to understand the customer's reason for calling and use problem solving skills to meet their individual needs
- Use product database and website to suggest merchandise appropriate for individual customers' needs
- Edit notes taken during phone calls and customize standard letter used to accompany samples/coupons sent to consumer
- Respond to letters and emails from customers promptly, paying close attention to detail as well as adhering to program specific policies
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, friendly, flexible and reliable for schedule adherence, typing and computer skills, strong work ethic and focus on delivering quality and professionalism.
- Basic clerical and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional and courteous phone etiquette.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required; knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Requirements Include:
- Experience operating PCs to type, navigate the Internet, search databases, etc.
- Experience in soft skills such as empathy, active listening, etc.
- Detail oriented with experience supporting consumer goods/services
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High diploma, GED or some college
Primary Responsibilities
- Addressing and empathizing with consumers concerns
- Providing product knowledge
- Reaching out to consumers via phone and email
- Guiding customer support in answering inquiries
- Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
- Provide thought-provoking questions that help customers identify their own pain points
- Analyzing customer needs and recommending product benefits that will fulfill those needs
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to consumers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Provide information about products
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Increase customer retention by implementing creative problem-solving skills
- Handle numerous customer inquiries promptly, accurately and efficiently
- Navigate between computer screens (CRM Software, ACD System, Email and Web Browser) while actively listening and entering customer information
