Job Posting for Account Executive at PREMISES CONTROL
Role Description
The Premises Control Account Executive acts as a long term, trusted advisor for mid to large sized organizations for their physical security needs including electronic access control and video surveillance systems. Account Executives look for C level decision makers who are seeking technology upgrades, unhappy with their current vendor, or building/remodeling. Day to day responsibilities include lead generation / follow up, meeting with prospective clients, presenting proposals, negotiating terms and closing deals. After successfully closing a deal, the Premises Control Account Executive stays in close contact with the client long term, monitoring their needs and offering support.
Primary Duties
Drive revenue growth by creating relationships with organizations not currently doing business with Premises Control
Achieve growth by prospecting for new business via social media tools, networking, cold calling and research
Build and maintain personal trust based relationships with contacts
Collaborate with estimators to develop competitive proposals
Present solutions and close deals
Manage the sales process from prospect to closed deal
Sell new services to existing clients
Meet and exceed activity to reach financial goals
Maintain accurate records in CRM software
Keep current with changing technology and competition
Candidate Qualifications
Hunter mentality- Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to find key end user decision makers
Networking - ability to build a network of end user and security industry contacts, e.g. consultants, general contractors, architects and vendors
Ability to develop trusting relationships with decision makers from different backgrounds in multiple business functions, e.g. operations, finance, IT
Associates degree or equivalent experience
2 years of outside B2B sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Patience and perseverance - ability to endure a potentially long sales cycle
Good time management skills
Initiative and self-starter
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with MS Office and CRM applications
Efficient time management, organization
Experience with CCure, Genetec, Avigilon, Exacq, Lenel, or other physical security line is a plus
