CANDIDATES WITHOUT ROOFING ESTIMATING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

The estimator/project manager will be responsible for estimating costs of both residential and commercial roof systems, as well as managing all aspects of each project. Projects include existing roof replacements, repairs, and new construction.

Responsibilities:

Estimating

  • Measure roofs and take pictures of roof details.
  • Provide cost estimates and proposals to homeowners, business owners, property managers and general contractors.
  • Advise customers on their roofing options and make informed recommendations based on cost, feasibility, project details, warranty, aesthetic considerations.
  • Perform construction takeoffs from building plans for new construction projects.

Project Management

  • Maintain production schedule for your sold jobs.
  • Meet with foreman every morning to ensure construction details are performed correctly and quality control is maintained.
  • Order roofing material from suppliers.
  • Generate work orders.
  • Maintain job files.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years in the roofing industry as a sales estimator and project manager.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience estimating costs and managing multiple types of roofing projects including comp, tile, shake, single-ply, and synthetic products.
  • Advanced knowledge of repair techniques and details for multiple roofing types.
  • Journeyman level roofing experience a major plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
