Kennel Supervisor

Preppy pet Lawton is looking to hire a Full-Time Kennel Supervisor. Pay is based on Experience in a professional setting. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays and have own liable transportation. Must be 18 .

Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of supervisor or equivalent experience that includes the oversight and motivation of staff members, quality assurance, and an upbeat positive personality. Animal experience is required.

Daily tasks include:

-Opening or closing facility without supervision providing oversight and delegation to kennel staff caring for pets

-Providing supervision and guidance to our daycare staff in yards with their play groups

-Facilitating & leading our staff in daily care for dogs in boarding (including feeding, administering mediation, taking out for walks and potty breaks, among other tasks).

-Cross Trained to work the Front Desk Receptionist position as needed.

-Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs.

-Maintaining cleanliness of our play yards and facility.

-Minimizing the stress of the dogs and staff by providing effective leadership and being responsive to their needs.

-Maintaining accurate records and activity logs for care provided.

-Working as a member of a team in a fast paced environment by using effective communication skills.

This position is ideal for someone with a love for dogs and a desire to work in a fun, fast paced environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must love animals and have patience. Must have high attention to detail and great communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
