Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid Polygraph Examiner/ Intelligence Technician to support a Federal government client.

 

As a Mid Polygraph Examiner/ Intelligence Technician, you will:

  • Conduct polygraph sessions in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) and Army Intelligence Polygraph Program (AIPP) policies and regulations, operating instructions, and as listed above
  • Conduct evaluations utilizing appropriate questions, consent forms, and AIPP forms
  • Record polygraph interviews in accordance with AIPP policy and submit written reports of results from the interviews on appropriate forms to include information on non-reportable results of said interviews. A polygraph session is considered completed when the responsible Government task manager (QC Examiner) accepts the examination report and associated documents. This acknowledgement appears in the Polygraph File and AIPP Database. AIPP provides policy and equipment to complete these documents.
  • Follow site policy guidance in situations when the examinee fails to make the appointment within the allotted timeframe for the polygraph examination. If the examinee does not arrive within the allotted timeframe, the Contractor will still be paid for that test.
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with AIPP policy
  • Attend training, meetings, and operational briefings as required by the AIPP

Job Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a certified polygraph examiner
  • Must be able to provide certificate confirming graduation from the Psychophysiological Detection of Deception (PPD) program and received certification from the NCCA or its predecessor institutions. The following predecessor institutions are acceptable:
    • U.S. Military Police School/Army Polygraph School (USAMPS)
    • Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DODPI)
    • Defense Academy for Credibility Assessment (DACA)
  • These Certifications need to be provided to the COR. These certificates will be maintained in the COR’s contractor records.
  • Certification from NCCA or its predecessor institutions are required for the duration of the contract. Failure to maintain an active certification shall result in removal from contract. Certification for AIPP means that the examiner has completed the following:
    • Conducted a minimum of three-hundred (300) polygraph examinations
    • At least three (3) years of experience as a polygraph examiner
    • Continuously pursuing 80 hours of Continuing Education (CE), as required for the NCCA certification, and maintain good CE standing for duration of the contract
  • Federally required certification training shall be the responsibility of the employee. The employee shall ensure that continuing education hours are completed and reported to the NCCA, providing the Sponsor a copy of NCCA accepted training. The Employee shall bear any costs related to continuing education training.

  • Demonstrated ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information
  • Demonstrated understanding of interpreting analysis to include, but not limited to, its meaning, importance, and implications
  • Demonstrated ability to defend analytic judgements with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments
  • Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic/soft copy matrices, and/or web-enabled formats
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner, both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information
  • Demonstrated working knowledge using complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise. Structured analytic techniques include, but are not limited to, analysis of competing hypotheses, devil's advocacy, high-impact/ low-impact analysis, red team analysis and alternative futures analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources related to the position
  • Demonstrated understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements
  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate understanding from information that may be
  • incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced
  • Demonstrated ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
  • Ability to provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
  • Ability to use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
