Job Description:
As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the dietary department to ensure the delivery of high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating daily menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
- Supervising and leading kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs within budgetary constraints.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Training and educating dietary staff on nutrition, safety, and culinary techniques.
Dietary Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Dietary Manager or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
