Delivery Route Driver

Job Summary:

The worker is responsible for driving safely and efficiently to various customer sites. Stocking , merchandising, and cleaning vending machines, coffee equipment and self service markets. Maintaining inventory, cash and data accountability. Being a professional representative of the company and exceeding customer expectations.

Essential Functions:

• Revenue, inventory and cash handling: Document and manage all cash and inventory handling functions per company’s policies and procedures.
• Fill/Service Machines and Markets: Fill and service machines, coffee equipment and markets as well as manage product inventory per company’s policies and procedures.
• Data Integrity: Maintain the data integrity of the Vending Management System to meet the company’s standards.
• Drive and Maintain Vehicle
• Responsible for driving in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• Inspect vehicle daily for safety and working equipment
• Drive vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all applicable laws
• Report any safety or mechanical problems to Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times
• Respond to Customer Needs
• Answer customer requests and questions courteously and professionally.
• Bring customer requests and needs to the appropriate persons attention immediately and see thru to resolution

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

• Ability to speak and read the English language in order to comprehend basic instructions and orientation to the job.
• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug screen
• Posses a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Possess a valid D.O.T medical card
• Posses basic math skills and make numerical entries on paperwork and or handheld computer devices.
• Well organized.
• Self-motivated and be able work unsupervised.
• Must be able to use a handheld computer device and read fine print.
• Must be able to work a shift starting at or before 5AM.

Physical Demands:
General requirements:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to push a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to operate a hand truck
• Full upper extremity range of motion
• Full lower extremity range of motion
• Read fine print typically found on handheld computer devices

*Continuous: Driving, lifting, walking, sitting, bending, standing
*Frequent: Climbing stairs, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching, repetitive hand motion
*Occasional: Pushing, pulling, calculating, writing a report on any safety or mechanical problems to Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $225.00 - $250.00 per day
