**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and assist healthcare professionals in a fast-paced medical environment.
Qualifying Requirements:
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and coding.
- Handle front office responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and verifying insurance information.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies.
**Preferred Requirements:**
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and medical terminology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical-surgical procedures.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Ability to perform tasks such as medication administration, vital signs measurement, and X-Ray assistance.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices is a plus.
