Summary:
Oversee, manage and maintain department processes within the injection molding department.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Production team.
- Monitor workflow and production to ensure goals, production rate, and requirements are met.
- Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Enforce and enhance policies and procedures to meet and exceed our goals.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
- Maintain quality standards for finished product throughout the shift.
- Manage and create reports for management or other departments as required.
- Ensure quality checks and production documents are being completed in accordance with quality and production standards in a timely manner.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency through employee development and equipment; allowing us to use these improvements to help fuel our growth.
- Ensure customer/vendor/supplier-related corrective actions are effectively carried out in a timely and proper manner.
- Manage timekeeping system and track employee hours and attendance.
- Work a full-time 2-2-3 schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends.
- Initiate, recommend, and provide quality, manufacturing, and maintenance procedures. Verify that intended results are being achieved through implementation and training.
- Train new and existing team members on different functions of the production area to ensure all are able to perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity.
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures.
- Keep work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 5 years (Required)
- Plastics injection molding: 2 years (Required)
