Summary:
Manage, plan, coordinate and direct quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Formulate and maintain quality objectives; coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Direct inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, equipment and products.
- Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as data collection systems to measure established perimeters, preparation of expenditure records, progress reports, etc in order to inform management of status of work activities.
- Plan, promote and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
- Analyze and resolve quality and non-conformance issues; ensure proper follow up.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues and customer complaints regarding quality; provide communication to customer; maintain appropriate records; determine disposition of hold items; establish acceptable quality levels.
- Prepare reports for production meetings and management
- Attend meetings to review and address quality issues; insure proper action and resolution.
- Manage/assist in implementation of GMP and facility audits from 3rd party sources and/or customers, and any other as applicable
- Work with team on process improvement of products; establish process parameters and dimensional specifications.
- Perform mold validations; determine process capability.
- Make customer visits as required to assist customers or work with customers on potential issues
- Oversee color vision testing process as required for applicable personnel.
- Perform other related duties or special projects.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
