Position Reports to: Certification Program Director
Position Consults with: Certification Office Staff
Job Overview:
- Generally, the trainings occur in-person across the state within schools and/or school system locations. But, each trainer will have a defined region of the state in which to train – generally within a 2-hour drive of the trainer’s home with an occasional overnight training.
- Trainers average 4-10 hours per week generally across 2-3 mornings. That number may change throughout the year, based on scheduling demands, but will not exceed more than 20 hours per week on average.
- Pay is hourly from the time the trainer leaves home until the time the trainer returns home - plus any time spent uploading results or reports. (Occasional overnight stays are calculated differently)
- In addition to the hourly pay, PBNC reimburses trainers for mileage driven to and from appointments.
This rate may change from year to year.
