Compensation:
Salary Range (Grade D/597): $88,539 (Min) - $131,381 (Max)
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of special projects, Capital and MTA IT programs that span multiple Department of Subways (DOS) operating divisions. The incumbent will work closely with the operating divisions in identifying gaps in the operation, procedures, where they relate to the implementation of new systems, projects, and operating initiatives, and ensure that this implementation is guided by the overarching strategy of DOS. The employee will provide recommendations through industry research and global best practices in the areas of operating strategies, maintenance strategies in interaction with all divisions as well as other NYCT departments on technology projects. This position will identify and develop strategies for implementing the organizational changes within DOS required by the introduction of the new systems and act as the central point for oversight and management of special project implementation.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight (8) years of related experience, and five (5) years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity, OR
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
