Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Second Grade Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing educational support and guidance to students of various ages and academic levels. This is a contract position. This position is ideal for someone that is a teacher, tutor, or already has a job.
Student is in Second Grade. Student is behide in reading. Student is on a kinder level, she needs help with phonics as well.
Student will need tutoring twice a week.
Responsibilities
- Tailor tutoring sessions to meet the individual needs of students
- Assist students in understanding subject-specific content
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans
- Provide feedback to students to enhance learning outcomes
- Help students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children or students
- Knowledge of educational best practices
- Ability to educate and motivate students effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with curriculum development and classroom management techniques
- Background in special education or adult education is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.84 per hour
