Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and development by providing personalized academic support.
Duties
- Develop customized lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods
- Provide tutoring in various subjects including early childhood education, adult education, and preschool curriculum
- Effectively communicate with students to ensure comprehension and engagement
- Manage classroom dynamics and create a conducive learning environment
- Offer childcare assistance during tutoring sessions
Experience
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
