Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote (within the State of Texas)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to support day-to-day operations of the Administrative Applications Organization. The ideal candidate will take ownership of internally scoped deliverables, including but not limited to:
- Software renewals
- Budget actions
- Contractor renewals
- Audit deliverables
- Vulnerability remediation deliverables
- Technical debt management
- Internal process and procedure reviews
- Roadmap action items
Additionally, this role may involve serving as a Scrum Master, overseeing and administering required Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate systems to align with overall business strategies.
- Identify new applications of technology to enhance business effectiveness.
- Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Required:
- 8 years of experience managing a large budget.
- 8 years of experience with procurement processes and procedures.
- 8 years of experience with software renewals.
- 8 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology practices
