Overall Position Summary and Objectives
Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.
Min Education - Bachelor's
Certifications & Licenses - Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a bachelor's degree

Skills -
- A strong track record of experience in health communications with subject matter expertise in engagement and relationship building.
- Knowledge, understanding and experience in the field of community engaged research, establishing strategic partnerships, health communications and best practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal and formal settings, including oral and written communication.
- Experience in planning and supporting communications and engagement activities.
- Special emphasis on providing guidance in health, research or scientific areas preferred.
- Ability to work and interact with individuals at various levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, turn around projects quickly.
- Project management skills and ability to set priorities, develop work plans, and monitor progress.
Statement of Work Details
- Coordinates community outreach efforts and activities for the program.
- Attends and gives presentations at major conferences or meetings and participates in discussion with community groups.
- Coordinates the analysis and evaluation of outreach activities, including internal and external partnership.
- Works closely with management to coordinate content of materials, advertisements and marketing messages.
