Play a critical role in overseeing the budget and forecasting for all business lines and driving the company’s financial strategy and planning. Duties include establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis.
What's unique about this job (What you’ll do)
- Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
- Producing models to project long-term growth and determine the impacting business factors
- Analyzing financial and operational results to understand company performance better
- Utilizing BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
- Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the department performance and results
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
- Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Evaluating previous budgets, and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
- Communicating results and recommendations to management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining of operations
Bring your passion and expertise (Who you are)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting rules and regulations (including GAAP), as well as best practices for financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and demonstrated ability to translate to non-finance/accounting people.
- Proficient in financial management software, with TM1 experience preferred.
- Advanced computer software skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications.
