Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure and safe environment and maintain accountability for regular patrols through an app
• Protect property and assets by enforcing access control and ensuring all doors, windows, and gates are properly secured
• If needed, monitor alarms to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or security breaches
• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, accidents, or incidents of theft or vandalism
• Conduct thorough investigations of any incidents or violations that occur on the premises
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance

Skills

• Law enforcement knowledge and experience is preferred
• Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• First aid, CPR, and other emergency response skills are highly desirable
• Strong surveillance skills to identify potential threats or risks
• Prior experience working site security at construction or health care facilities a plus
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies
• Previous experience with Workforce, Silvertrac or Tracktick apps for security guard time sheets and accountability is desired
• Previous supervisory and management experience is very desirable.

****PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!!!****

• You MUST be willing to commute to and from the Mesa/Queen Creek/Gilbert area
• You MUST have a dependable vehicle as you WILL be required to do mobile patrol at your assigned post
• You MUST have a reliable "smart phone" and be able to operate it competently, and be able to use the security guard accountability app Silvertrac as well as our timekeeping app Workforce
• You MUST be able to work weekends--NO EXCEPTIONS.
• You MUST be punctual with a great attitude, possess a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, be willing to help develop a new culture of teamwork and mutual support with your fellow guards, and have unwavering commitment to maintaining safety and security.
• You MUST understand the immediate position being offered is for the Taylor Morrison "La Mira" development in southeast Mesa. The shift is 7 days a week, 1800-0600. You also may be reassigned to other properties based on the needs of the company.
